Created by Sophie Richter, the SCVC ("civic") project is a oral storytelling platform developed in response to the significant impact Covid-19 is having on our communities. SCVC was born out of a need to cut through the often reductive news-media cycles and pivot to local stories that dig deeper into what makes up our community in South County. The project aims to collect oral histories from South County residents recounting their lived experiences of Covid-19. You can learn more about the project at http://www.scvcproject.com/.
